Important Aftercare Advice
Avoid Sun Exposure
Protect the area from direct sunlight and tanning beds. UV rays can cause pigments to fade faster and affect the final result. Once healed, apply sunscreen daily to maintain color vibrancy.
Keep The Area Clean
Avoid getting the treated area wet for at least 4–7 days. This includes avoiding water, sweat, steam, and makeup. Moisture can interfere with pigment retention and cause premature fading.
Do Not Pick or Scratch
As the skin heals, light scabbing or flaking may occur. It’s crucial not to pick or scratch, as this can pull out pigment, cause patchy results, or even lead to scarring.
Skip Harsh Products
Avoid using exfoliants, acids (like AHAs, BHAs), or retinol near the treated area during the healing process. These ingredients can interfere with healing and pigment retention.
